Parque la Reina is a small dormitory town whose main appeal is its direct access to the southern motorway and its location a few kilometres from the main tourist centres in the south of Tenerife, Los Cristianos, Las Américas and Costa Adeje. Its infrastructure and amenities have now improved significantly; a school was opened this year, and it has a cultural centre and a number of everyday businesses, such as a supermarket, bars and restaurants. Its infrastructure continues to improve, and it is expected that construction of the new estate will be finished within a year, with wide avenues, pedestrian zones and gardens. During this and upcoming years, Alicur will be launching various kinds of projects here, such as terraced and detached properties, buildings with swimming pools, etc…
