Documentation required to purchase a property
Identification
- If you are Spanish:
- To sign the private contract (Alicur) and to sign the Title Deed (Notary) you must present your original DNI, which must be valid.
- If you are not Spanish:
- To sign the private contract (Alicur) you must present your Residency Card or Passport. To sign the Title Deed (Notary) you must present your Residency Card, or if you do not have one, you must present your Passport and N.I.E. If you do not have a N.I.E, in the following section of this guide we will tell you how to get one.
- If you are buying as a legal person (in the name of a Company):
- To sign the private contract (Alicur) and to sign the Title Deed (Notary) you must present your company CIF (company tax code), the Corporate Charter and subsequent Charters. In addition, the person signing in representation of the company must identify himself/herself in any of the ways indicated in the two previous sections.
