Alicur, S.L. was created in 1990 as the personal project of its founder and owner, based on the strong experience he had gained as project manager in the construction industry since 1970, and it has come to be a company with a great managerial capacity, technical solvency and a solid standing on the island of Tenerife. These facts have enabled it to gain the trust of clients, suppliers and financial institutions.
What makes Alicur stand out from the other companies in the sector is the fact that it manages the full process: it designs the project, builds it, sells it and offers the best after-sales services to its clients. This allows for the construction of property developments adapted to market demand and guarantees a professional growth clearly reflected in the finished product.
In its effort to continually improve the company, in 2004 Alicur obtained the ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certificate and the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems certificate, both of which were successfully renewed in 2007.
The Company’s interests currently cover a wide range of activities related to the construction world. From small family homes to large residential complexes, luxurious detached and semi-detached chalets, apartments, warehouses, shopping centres and hotel complexes, contributing its experience and know-how in all types of constructions. The company not only carries out its own construction work and property developments, but has also worked in conjunction with the Local Authorities in the construction of government-subsidized housing, cultural centres and public squares, as well as in conjunction with private property developers. In the near future its activities will diversify within the field of renewable energies, including projects for wind farms and photovoltaic energy plants.
It currently has a considerable workforce, whom it provides with the training required for the circumstantial demands arising within the organisation. The following are just a few examples of projects we have developed:
1997 Villas Chayofa21 high-class detached chalets located in Chayofa. Each one with its own swimming pool, Jacuzzi in the bathroom of the main bedroom, wooden ceilings in the bedrooms and living room and a private sauna in the basement together with a small wine cellar. An example of a project where we only participated as Contractor.
2000 Residencial Costa CalmaA residential complex in Playa San Juan, consisting of three buildings: Residencial Costa Calma I, II and III. With 29 two-bedroom properties in the first phase, 23 in the second and 36 in the third, the complex has a swimming pool, gardens and sun terrace. The complex sits in a privileged natural setting, with its volcanic coastline and banana plantations, in addition to its pleasant year-round climate.
1999/2005 Jardines de FañabéThe new residential area in Fañabé was started in 1999, growing quickly thanks to its proximity to the main tourist areas, which are easily reached thanks to a direct access to the TF1 motorway. It is an ideal area for both residents and those looking for a profitable investment. It contains a total of 166 properties distributed among eight different buildings.
2001 Quintas de San Martín5 Detached properties in Tabaiba Alta, enjoying the best views of the Candelaria and Güímar valleys. Very close to Santa Cruz, they were constructed with first-class materials.
2002 Residencial Parque Galeón90 apartments and terraced properties, most with two bedrooms, located on the recently-created “El Galeón” residential complex in Adeje. All the homes have furnished kitchens, fitted wardrobes, garage space and storage rooms, in a residential complex with swimming pool, sun terraces and spacious gardens.
2003 Villas La Capitana54 semi-detached properties on the “El Galeón” residential complex, Adeje. The complex has two swimming pools, gardens and a gymnasium with sauna.
